Some good news? The speedy Royals didn’t steal any bases for the second day in a row. The bad news? Almost everything else. It was windy. It was cold. The Angels were crushed in Kansas City.
I guess the theory of the opener is that the main starter gets to come in to the game not have to face the top of the order. In that sense, Cam Bedrosian the opener did his job by facing the top 3 batters and getting them all out.
