ANAHEIM -- The beleaguered Angels pitching staff won't see much relief anytime soon, but it did receive some good news on Sunday when C.J. Wilson threw off the mound in a bullpen session and saw positive results.
It was the first time Wilson has thrown off the mound since March. The left-hander has yet to pitch this season as he's been struggling with shoulder tendinitis since Spring Training. Wilson has said he's aiming for a mid-June return to the rotation, which is without Garrett Richards, Andrew Heaney and Tyler Skaggs.
