LA Angels reliever Mike Morin started out the 2016 season pitching pretty well in the first six weeks. On May 11th Morin lowered his ERA to 1.84 with a two inning relief outing against the St. Louis Cardinals. But like so many other LA Angels pitchers as quickly as Morin had success, his effectiveness faded away.
Morin finished the month of May with seven forgettable outings that ballooned his ERA to 5.48. The difference for Morin his opponents batting average jumped from .157 to .256 during that stretch. this meant one thing, Morin was not fooling many batters.
