That was a tough road trip. 3 and 7 with some sad, sad losses. And some tough losses against a hot team. And some pasting from a very good team. But last night was interesting. Only 1 run scored but it felt to me like there was some fight in the roster. They put guys on base, and they moved them around. They just couldn’t get that finishing hit. It wasn’t until the 5th inning that they went down in order. Meanwhile, Jaime Barria was doing a good job keep the Mariners off the board.
