About two months ago I wrote an article exploring who would be the first to enter the Hall of Fame as an Angel. I analyzed the former Angels who were on the 2016 Hall of Fame ballot: Jim Edmonds, Troy Glaus, Garret Anderson, and David Eckstein. But none of the four qualified for induction. In fact, none even received enough votes to remain on future ballots and were therefore eliminated from the possibility of Hall of Fame recognition.
Today, however, fans hoping to one day finally see an Angels cap in the Hall got some good news. Vladimir Guerrero said, “Since there is no team in Montreal, it would probably be the Angels” (via Mike DiGiovanna).
