Dayum, but don’t Trout and Ohtani look goooood in those unis?!?
The Angels played a mini double-header last night. In the first mini-game, the Halos bested the Rockies 5-3 in 7 innings. In the ultra-late-nightcap (thanks Mr. I cannot help but use 7 pitchers in a 9-inning game Scioscia), the Rockies blasted off to a 4 run lead. But the Angels roared back with 5 of their own.
Key to the come-back rally was the Eric Young, Jr. 2-RBI bases-loaded single to turn a 1-run deficit into a 1-run lead. A couple batters later, with the bases juiced again, David Fletcher hit a grounder right to Colorado shortstop Trevor Story, who promptly threw the ball directly at the Colorado bullpen.
