TEMPE, Ariz. -- Mike Trout is rounding into form.
After a 1-for-14 start to the spring, Trout delivered three hits -- including his first Cactus League home run -- in his first three at-bats Saturday in the Angels' split-squad game against the Giants at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
Trout collected a pair of line-drive singles in the first and third innings before crushing an 0-1 pitch from Joan Gregorio over the batter's eye in center field to extend the Angels' lead to 7-3 in the fifth.
