Trout and Valbuena swapped homers over the first four innings. Trout homered one out into the game for his 25th of the season, Valbuena went deep in the second, and Trout followed with his 26th in the third. Valbuena finished off the Angels' power display with a dinger in the fourth off Orioles starter Kevin Gausman, who gave up five runs on six hits and four walks over four-plus innings.
Baltimore is now three games behind the Angels and Twins after going 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position. Tim Beckham doubled in the first inning and scored the O's only run on a wild pitch.
