When Mike Trout was elected to his first All-Star Game in Kansas City in 2012, the entire experience seemed to unfold in the blink of an eye. Now in his seventh Midsummer Classic, Trout has learned to savor every minute of the festivities instead of being overwhelmed by the jam-packed itinerary.
"It's been crazy," Trout said Monday during his media session at Nationals Park. "It went by so fast. Just to think, now it's my seventh. It's pretty incredible how time flies. You try to take every second of it in and just enjoy it.
