SEATTLE -- Mike Trout blasted his 12th home run of the season in the sixth inning of Sunday's series finale against the Mariners at Safeco Field, launching a three-run shot off Chasen Bradford to extend the Angels' lead to 6-0.
Bradford was brought in to face Trout after Mariners ace Felix Hernandez departed with runners on first and second and two outs. Trout subsequently hammered a 1-0 slider from Bradford 389 feet to left field, tying the Rangers' Joey Gallo for the second-most homers in the American League. According to Statcast™, Trout's shot had an exit velocity of 108.
