ANAHEIM -- Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani hit back-to-back home runs off right-hander Erasmo Ramirez to give the Angels a 3-0 lead in the first inning of Saturday's game against the Mariners at Angel Stadium.
Trout put the Angels on the board by hammering a two-run shot into the visitor's bullpen in left field for his 34th home run of the season. Ohtani followed by driving a homer to center field for his 20th of the year.
It's the fourth time the Angels have hit back-to-back home runs this year.
