Trout 2nd among outfielders in All-Star ballot update

Albert Pujols ranked fifth at first base with 217,576 votes -- more than 1,000,000 behind leader Miguel Cabrera -- and was the only other Angels player among the leading vote-getters at his respective position.

Trout, 23, has been an All-Star each of his first three full seasons and sports a .299/.392/.551 slash line through his first 45 games of 2015, adding 11 homers, 25 RBIs and eight stolen bases. Angels right fielder Kole Calhoun is batting .288/.343/.425 while playing Gold Glove-caliber defense, but was not among the top 15 outfielders.
