Major League Baseball this week delayed the start of the Triple-A season by four weeks, keeping it in line with the schedules for Double-A and both Class-A levels, which now all begin in the first week of May.
The Triple-A Salt Lake Bees will now begin their season on Thursday, May 6 at home against Reno, the start of a 12-game homestand.
The Bees’ schedule was reduced from 142 games to 120, which is split into 20 series of six games each.
