The Angels, baseball’s hottest team this month, reverted back to the way they had played for periods of the first three months in their 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Thursday.
Their seven-game winning streak came to an end because the offense couldn’t muster a run against former Angel Ervin Santana, dooming Richards to a tough-luck loss.
