'I'm just trying to learn every day from watching (David Freese) or watching anyone over there,' says Angels rookie third baseman Kyle Kubitza.

ANAHEIM – Angels manager Mike Scioscia wasn’t shy about heaping praise on third baseman Kyle Kubitza after his team’s 4-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.

“Kyle has the potential to be a Gold Glove caliber third baseman,” Scioscia said. “He’s going to have to work his way into that, get his feet on the ground, and understand hitters. He’s got really good hands, he’s got a fine arm that’s really accurate and he’s very agile.
