The sun sets on the Angels at Globe Life Park in more ways than one

The first few innings didn’t look so hot for the Angels, but facing Mike Minor it was much to be expected. They only managed a single walk and a single hit through the 3rd inning. And while Minor was dealing, Patrick Sandoval had a 2nd inning “hiccup”, allowing a home run to Willie Calhoun and and another from a Delino DeShields double which scored rookie Nick Solak (who also doubled).

Despite rally killer Max Stassi, the Angels got on the board with a pair of runs in the 4th when they sent 6 batters to the plate against Minor.
