The Los Angeles Angels bats were silence by some of the AL’s best pitchers during their recent slump. Names like Rick Porcello, David Price, Luis Severino, Gerrit Cole, Justin Verlander, and Masahiro Tanaka all limited the Angels to two runs or less. The only pitcher the Angels beat was Gerrit Cole who had an ERA of 0.96 going into the game. The Angels beat Cole 2-0.
So on Wednesday night the Angels were hoping to bust out against another tough customer in the Orioles Dylan Bundy who had a nice 2.97 ERA going into Wednesday. It didn’t last long.
