TEMPE, Ariz. -- Angels right-hander Huston Street departed Friday's game against the Brewers in the third inning with right triceps irritation and is scheduled to undergo an MRI.
Street, who was making his spring debut, faced two batters before walking off the field with a team trainer. He allowed a leadoff single to Keon Broxton, who was subsequently caught stealing. He then struck out Jonathan Villar swinging before exiting; he threw 11 pitches in the abbreviated outing.
Street is fighting for the Angels' closer role this spring, battling fellow relievers Cam Bedrosian and Andrew Bailey.
