It’s been over a week since Shohei Ohtani last pitched in a game, and it looks like it could still be some time before he takes the mound in a game.
On Monday, Ohtani threw a light 10-pitch bullpen session with his bandage off, just to get the feel of throwing again. When speaking to reporters prior to the game, manager Joe Maddon said that it went well, but it was just a light throwing session to get him back on the mound again. He didn’t have an update as to when he’ll be throwing his next session.
