Shohei Ohtani's free agency decision was one of the more closely watched in recent sports history.
The Los Angeles Angels two-way star is coming off a unanimous AL MVP winning season. Ohtani had 44 home runs and 95 RBIs with a career-high .304 batting average. He also started 23 games on the mound with a 10-5 win-loss record and 3.14 ERA, the second lowest of his career.
The Ohtani chase ended in the largest contract in MLB history -- $700 million over 10 years with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
