The Angels have re-signed outfielder Shane Robinson to a minor league deal.
Robinson was designated for assignment earlier this month and opted for free agency, but re-signed with the Angels anyway.
Robinson, 32, spent most of the season in the majors with the Angels last season, hitting .173 in 65 games. He is a career .228 hitter with a .295 on-base percentage in parts of seven major league seasons.
On Tuesday, the Angels also claimed infielder Nolan Fontanta on waivers from the Houston Astros.
Fontana, 25, has a career .237 average and .379 on-base percentage in five minor league seasons.
