Wednesday's game against the Rangers at Globe Life Park marked the second time Santiago has appeared in a game on Jackie Robinson Day -- he came out of the bullpen with the White Sox in 2013 -- and the first time he's been the starting pitcher on the special day.

The 27-year-old left-hander was giddy when he found out his second turn through the rotation would come on April 15.
