Mike Trout had a wonderful game on Monday night to beat the A’s. The superstar outfielder hit two home runs, including the game-winner in the eighth inning, capping a comeback in a game the Angels once trailed by five runs.
Trout now has 20 career multi-homer games, tied with Tim Salmon and Vladimir Guerrero for most in Angels history. Trout is also only eight home runs away from passing Salmon for the all-time Angels home run list, another page of the franchise record book that will one day belong almost exclusively to Trout.
