One of the most memorable games of Weaver’s career was in Detroit. In 2011, Weaver was upset by a strike call he didn’t get just before Carlos Guillen hit a home run. Weaver argued with umpire Hunter Wendelstedt and then threw a ball at Alex Avila’s head, earning an ejection.
