Riding the citizens of the Emerald City back off on the broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West is a brilliant way to open the back half of the season. Keeping shut the pasty-faced yap traps of the teal-garbed Seattle noobs being forced to slum it here in the gorgeous confines of Southern California makes home games all the better in the sport of baseball. Especially for Halo fans subject to their snooty rancor in Angels Stadium while trying to pay attention to superior players executing a superior version of the sport.
And that is precisely what the Angels did to open the current homestand, sweeping the Mariners out of town with a 6-3 come-from-behind-with-one-Mike-Trot-tied-behind-their-back victory.
