ANAHEIM -- Barney Lopas examined all of Angel Stadium this morning and found it is fit to host baseball today. In fact, the longtime head groundskeeper found it was more fit to play than it was on Saturday night, when the Angels and Red Sox played nine innings after a rain delay.
Yesterday brought much more rain and the first postponement of a game due to it here in 20 years. This morning brought all sorts of methods to dry out the outfield, including a helicopter -- seriously.
Tonight, the two teams will play at least 18 innings, beginning at 2 p.
