Mike Trout had the 14th-highest selling jersey in MLB since the start of the 2020 season, in numbers released by the league on Friday, a list topped by former MVP winner Mookie Betts, in his first season with a new team.
It’s the lowest Trout has ranked in MLB jersey sales in nine full seasons, but his popularity is still such that he’s rated in the top 15 for nine years running:
- 2012: fifth
- 2013: ninth*
- 2014: third
- 2015: fifth
- 2016: fifth*
- 2017: 8th
- 2018: 11th
- 2019: ninth
- 2020: 14th
