It’s now been more than three weeks since we last saw Mike Trout. He’s been out since May 17 due to a Grade 2 calf strain. When speaking with reporters on Monday, Trout said his rehab progress is going well.
The initial timeline for Trout’s recovery was expected to be 6-8 weeks, meaning he’s potentially halfway towards returning. However, Trout still isn’t sure when exactly it is he could return.
“It’s a grind sometimes,” he said to reporters. “Because every game you see the guys go out there, you want to be out there. It’s frustrating not being out there with them.
