Mike Trout out of Angels' lineup again with sore wrist; David DeJesus to start in center

HOUSTON -- Mike Trout was out of the Angels lineup for a second straight game on Wednesday because of a sore left wrist.

Trout, who hurt his wrist attempting to make a diving catch on Sunday, played the rest of that game but then felt more discomfort during the off day Monday and Tuesday, when he missed the first game of the series.

He went for an MRI exam on Tuesday, and it showed no structural damage, so he could return to the lineup as soon as the pain was gone.

Trout said after Tuesday's game that he felt better, but the true test would come when he tried to take batting practice on Wednesday.
