It’s nearly award season, which is annually a busy time for Mike Trout, and this year is no exception. On Wednesday, the Angels superstar outfielder was named a finalist for two awards that will be announced in the coming weeks.
From his peers, in the Players Choice Awards, Mike Trout is one of three finalists for American League Outstanding Player, along with White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu and Yankees second baseman DJ LeMahieu.
That award will be announced on October 22. Trout won the AL Outstanding Player Award in 2014 and 2019, and last year was also voted by players as the Major League Player of the Year.
