One month after pitching coach Mickey Callaway was suspended by the Angels after allegations of inappropriate behavior towards, and harassment of, five different women, new allegations were reported on Tuesday.
The Athletic reported that even more women have come forward since the Feb. 1 report, saying Callaway “made them uncomfortable by sending them inappropriate messages and/or photos, making unwanted advances and more while they worked for the Indians,” and that Cleveland knew about the allegations despite previous assertions otherwise.
The Angels suspended Callaway on Feb. 2, with a team spokesperson saying the team would “work closely with MLB to conduct a full investigation.
