The Angels will have “Star Wars Night” at Angel Stadium on Monday as they kick off a seven-game homestand.
Certainly, the Angels (5-7), who’ve dropped their past two game at Houston, would like to find “The Force” against the night’s opponent, Oakland.
Fans are encouraged to dress in their favorite Star Wars attire and can join Angels scheduled starter Matt Shoemaker, whose beard gets him halfway to being Chewbacca above the shoulders.
The Angels issued an advisory “that any props resembling firearms or weapons of any sort will be confiscated.
