While Matt Harvey was not lights out in his LA Angels debut, he was effective and recorded a quality start going six innings allowing only two runs on four hits, but he got a no-decision. Harvey’s efforts kept the Angels in the game until the offense would wake up in the eighth inning for a 4-run rally to help the team get their first and right now only win of the season.
Harvey is being looked to as the team’s ace with Andrew Heaney out with shoulder inflamation. Harvey only allowed one A’s hitter to reach base in the first four innings which was Robbie Grossman, who walked to leadoff the game.
