In a season filled to the brim with disappointment thus far, one thing remains the same. Mike Trout is still the best player in baseball. At just 24 years old and set to turn 25 in August and he kid fish just keeps on getting better.
One area the Angels won’t need to try and get better in this offseason is centerfield. It will be absolutely impossible for them to get better out there when the best position player in baseball plays there.
Trout went into the All-Star Break hitting .322 with 18 home runs and 58 runs batted in.
