The best laid plans for the LA Angels have gone awry as their two big free agent pitchers they signed in the off-season Matt Harvey and Trevor Cahill have been downright awful and are now both on the injured list.
Harvey could be back soon as he made his first rehab start Saturday night although it wasn’t pretty (eight runs in 2.2 innings). Now Trevor Cahill is now on the injured list with shoulder soreness. No prognosis or time-table has been announced for Cahill as of yet as to the extent of the injury and how long he will be out.
