The LA Angels have transferred Huston Street from the 10-day disabled list to the 60-Day disabled list, which means the earliest he can return to the majors in June 1st. The move was made for two reasons: Street has had some tightness in his shoulder so his timetable to return to the Angels has been slowed. Secondly the Angels needed to open a spot on the 40-man roster for reliever Parker Bridwell who was acquired yesterday from Baltimore.
Street had recently begun a throwing program, but felt some soreness in his shoulder and has been diagnosed with shoulder impringement.
