LA Angels Jhoulys Chacin finished season with a flourish

LA Angels general manager Billy Eppler acted fast when Garrett Richards went down with an elbow injury in early May. By mid-May he had a deal in place with the Atlanta Braves for starter Jhoulys Chacin. Chacin had been signed by the Braves in the off-season and had been mildly effective in the first six weeks of the season.

Chacin looked really good in three of his first four starts. In his Angels debut he went seven innings giving up only two runs. His second start against the Dodgers was not quite as good going 4.
