The usual suspects struck again Friday night. It was Justin Upton with RISP (specifically, a man at third and less than two outs), and he failed to cash in. It was Luis Valbuena, laboring through four tortuous AB. When the dust settled, he had struck out thrice and hit a lazy grounder to second. And it was Cam Bedrosian, tantalizingly good over his last 18 innings (1 ER), who decided it was time to issue his fifth blown save of the year in the seventh inning.
The game was actually going well until then.
