DETROIT -- Ian Kinsler received a warm welcome from Tigers fans when he was announced in the starting lineup Tuesday night at Comerica Park, and he responded in the second inning by hitting a three-run home run to give the Angels a 4-0 lead in the second game of this four-game series.
Kinsler, who played for the Tigers from 2014-17, had fouled off four straight pitches when he shot a 2-2 pitch over the left-field fence off starter Michael Fulmer. The Angels got their first run on a Luis Valbuena single, also in the second.
