As it seems I mention with every article, it’s only Spring Training. These results don’t mean anything. However, it sure is nice when players are performing extremely well. That’s the case with Jose Quintana, one of the starting pitchers the Angels added this offseason.
On Wednesday night, Quintana threw 3 2⁄3 innings of scoreless ball while striking out six.
“I feel really good,” Quintana said to the media following his outing. “Today, I felt a little slow in the first inning. My command was off going in to righties. But it was the perfect game to make adjustments.
