Entering Saturday’s game, Jo Adell was struggling at the plate. Granted, he only had six at bats, but he had yet to collect a hit yet. Well, he finally got in the hit column and did so in dramatic fashion.
He crushed a two-run home run for his first hit of the spring.
That was the lone offense all day for the Angels, as they fell to the Rockies, 8-2. In other news at the plate, Anthony Rendon made his second start of the spring, going 0-for-2 at the plate.
