ARLINGTON, Texas – For a guy who once jumped into a swimming pool in his full uniform to wash off a bad start, an unusual haircut was nothing.
Especially not one that, to Hector Santiago’s unique brand of thinking, actually helped him pitch better.
“I just do some crazy things sometimes,” Santiago said after pitching seven dominant innings in the Angels’ 10-2 victory over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday afternoon.
