Each of the Angels' first six runs scored with two outs, and all were charged to A's starter Chris Bassitt. In the first, Mike Trout and Albert Pujols hit back-to-back doubles and David Murphy added a single to give the Angels a 2-0 lead. With one on in the fourth, David Freese and Carlos Perez hit back-to-back singles, Johnny Giavotella lined an RBI double and Erick Aybar provided the knockout punch with a two-run triple.
