The A's (65-92) took the lead in a seesaw game by plating two runs in the sixth, getting a sacrifice fly by Jake Smolinski and an RBI single by Coco Crisp. But Albert Pujols tied the game with his 38th home run in the bottom half, a shorthanded bullpen hung tough and the Angels notched their 11th walk-off victory in the ninth.

C.J. Cron led off with a single and David Freese reached on a slow roller, putting runners on second and third after reliever Edward Mujica's throw went awry.
