ANAHEIM -- The Angels recalled right-handed pitcher Parker Bridwell from Triple-A Salt Lake and optioned right-handed reliever Mike Morin to Salt Lake in a corresponding move Wednesday.
Morin had been recalled from Salt Lake ahead of Tuesday's game against New York. He pitched 1 1/3 innings during the contest, allowing one hit and two walks, along with two strikeouts. He threw 31 pitches.
Angels manager Mike Scioscia said the decision was made in order to have an arm available out of the bullpen for Wednesday night's series finale against New York.
The Angels acquired Bridwell on April 17 from Baltimore in exchange for cash.
