The Story: There is renewed tension between Mike Scioscia and Jerry Dipoto.
The Monkey Says: And the other foot has now dropped from the mysterious closed door pre-game meeting over the weekend. The long and short of it is that Dipoto apparently feels like the coaching staff is no longer on the same page as the front office. The coaching staff, naturally, took umbrage with being told how to do their jobs and the players came to the defense of the coaches. It doesn’t sound as if there is a huge rift at this point, but it also doesn’t sound like there is much in the way of harmony either.
