Former Angel Tommy Hanson dead at 29.

Rumors have been swirling around the internet today that former Braves and Angels starting pitcher and Tommy Hanson was in a comma today. Sports Director Zach Klein of ABC-TV Atlanta has reported that Hanson died late Monday night at the age of 29 at an Atlanta hospital. Klein was the first to report about the former top prospect being in a comma and rushed hospital. Hanson suffered catastrophic organ failure and at this time what caused this incident is unknown at this time.

Hanson spent five years in the major leagues. Four years with the Braves and one year with the Angels in 2013 before shoulder problems ultimately ruined his career.
