HOUSTON – Apparently Mike Morin still has some work to do against left-handed hitters.
For as good as Morin was during his rookie season, the Angels reliever went into the winter determined to improve against left-handed hitters.
On Saturday night, Morin gave up a game-breaking three-run homer to Robbie Grossman, hitting from the left side, in the Angels 4-0 loss to the Houston Astros.
Morin had entered in the seventh inning to face right-handed hitting Jose Altuve with two outs and a runner at first, with the Angels trailing 1-0.
