ANAHEIM – Ervin Santana ruined his former team’s party.
The Angels’ seven-game winning streak came to an end with a 3-0 loss to Santana and the Minnesota Twins on Thursday afternoon.
Santana, who pitched for the Angels from 2005-12, blanked the Angels on four hits over eight innings.
It was Santana’s fourth start after missing the first half of the season while sitting out a suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.
Garrett Richards took the loss, despite dominating the Twins for all but one hiccup in the fourth inning.
