Final: Angels pull out 13-inning victory over Astros

ANAHEIM – The result was worth the wait for the Angels.

Taylor Featherston’s single gave the Angels a 2-1, 13-inning victory over the Houston Astros on Wednesday afternoon.

The Angels, who played their longest game of the season, took two of three from the first-place Astros. They won the game because of a pitching staff that survived until the sluggish offense could produce the winning run.
